Musical roots In the late 1980s a talented 17-year-old reggae selector, blessed with the audacity of a seasoned vinyl expert, amazed his audience with his appearance at SOS Racisme or as a supporting act at the open-air concert of Aswad.

With Time the musical interest shifted, away from the stage to studio and sound engineering. Today the heroes of those days became teachers and companions when working in the studio. Legends of Jamaican music and artists like Cornel Campbell, Half Pint, Frankie Paul or Tristan Palma are featured on current productions.

Music Producer From early on, Danzky was fascinated by electronic design possibilities that can give simple sounds a unique character. Over the years Danzky gathered and implemented some knowledge about analog and digital sound colouration. As sound engineer, Danzky has extensive experience in recording, production and mastering techniques. His compositions include subtle stylistic elements from jazz and contemporary dance music.

DeeJay and Selector Danzky’s DJ set stands out from the crowd. His performances have that certain something: Live Dub, remixes or dubplate specials of his composed and mastered material. DJ Danzky is a one-man show, accompanied by live artists or a residential sound system.
